Main Pal Do Pal Ka Shayar Hoon..

Main Pal Do Pal Ka Shayar Hon
Pal Do Pal Meri Kahani Hai
Pal Do Pal Meri Hasti Hai
Pal Do Pal Meri Jawani Hai

Mujh Se Pehlay Kitnay Shayar Aaye Or Aa Kar Chalay Gaye
Kuch Aahein Bhar Ke Loat Gaye
Kuch Naghmay Ga Kar Chalay Gaye
Woh Bhi Ek Pal Ka Qissa Thay
Main Bhi Ek Pal Ka Qissa Hon
Kal Tum Se Juda Ho Jaonga
Jo Aaj Tumhara Hissa Hon
Main Pal Do Pal Ka Shayar Hon

Kal Or Aayiengey Naghmon Ki Khilti Kaliyan Chunnay Walay
Mujh Se Behtar Kehnay Walay Tum Se Behtar Sunnay Walay
Kal Mujh Ko Koi Yaad Karay
Kiyon Mujh Ko Koi Yaad Karay
Masroof Zamana Meray Liye Kiyon Waqt Apna Barbad Karay
Main Pal Do Pak Ka Shayar Hon

I just love this song from the movie Kabhi Kabhi. It shows how insignifacnt most of us are. But more often than not, we loose the significance in others eyes, not because of our own limitation but because other people forget us when they find someone better. Next song is in optimistic tone, and I love it too.. :)

Main Har Ek Pal Ka Shaayar Hoon
Har Ek Pal Meri Kahani Hai
Har Ek Pal Meri Hasti Hai
Har Ek Pal Meri Jawaani Hai

Rishton Ka Roop Badalta Hai, Buniyaden Khatam Nahin Hoti
Khwabon Ki Aur Umango Ki, Miyaden Khatam Nahin Hoti
Ek Phool Main Tera Roop Basa Ek Phool Main Meri Jawaani Hai
Ek Chehra Teri Nishaani Hai, Ek Chehra Meri Nishaani Hai
Maein Har Ek Pal Ka Shaayar Hoon...

Tujhko Mujhko Jeevan Amrit, Ab In Haathon Se Peena Hai
Inki Dhadkan Main Basna Hai, Inki Saanson Main Jeena Hai
Tu Apni Adaen Baksh Inhen Maein Apni Wafaen Deta Hoon
Jo Apne Liye Sochi Thi Kabhi, Woh Saari Duaen Deta Hoon
Maein Har Ek Pal Ka Shaayar Hoon...

I feel that this song implies that we should not end our relationship with others because of finding some small fault. When you commit - you commit fully, and you have to face the limitations (of each other) together. Both of us need to find solution to the problem together - and one should not run away from the problem.

I love both the versions of this song. I remember I had this combo of Kabhi Kabhi and Silsila which was one of my favourite cassettes. And then my brother lent it to somebody and I never got it back. I had a huge fight with my brother about that.

Thanks for posting this song. With this (& indeed other works), Saahir catapulted Hindi lyrics to the higher world of poesy.
I particularly love the optimistic note of the following lines:
Tu Apni Adaen Baksh Inhen Maein Apni Wafaen Deta Hoon
Jo Apne Liye Sochi Thi Kabhi, Woh Saari Duaen Deta Hoon

@suji

Yeah, that was one casette that I adored too. I also had that combination and I guess each and every song of the album is lovable. Another combo that I remember is "Abhiman + Mili".

@ajay, gallimaufry

Thanks for passing by. Yeah, this is one of the best songs - infact, all the songs of the movie are good. And yes - this line is particularly good .. I like "Jo Apne Liye Sochi Thi Kabhi, Woh Saari Duaen Deta Hoon " ... how true in love?

Its one of the best songs among all the Bollywood songs till date. In addition to gr8 lyrics and wonderful music, Rakhi looks awesome in this song

i think what the song implies is that no matter how big you are, poeple are gonig to forget you in the long run. This song reminded me of my Dadaji who passed away a few months back. It seemed to me as if he was singing this verse for all of us. Hey thanx buddy for these songs.

Infact, i was unaware of the 2nd version. was this a part of the film? coz i have always heard the first one but never the following one. Thanx neways.
